SYSTEMS ANALYST
This person will be responsible for several areas of business:
- Recommending energy reduction investments and completing Energy Reduction Plans.
- Producing analysis and recommendations of specific client initiatives.
- Managing the capture and production of remote electronic building management system data.
- Developing process around servicing solar energy opportunities.
This person will be involved in Energy Reduction Plans and other client specific projects. The person will also be modeling building site information given to him and create an energy reduction plan for the property which could include recommendations such as boiler replacement, window replacement, cogeneration install, lighting grid change, energy system install, etc. This person will produce Energy Reduction Plans. This person will also review all opportunities across all of the company's clients including making energy purchasing recommendations, and capital plans (like installing cogen plants, new boilers, etc.). Critical to success is modeling the energy savings, producing a cash flow estimate, and rate of return on investment. Client relationship management along with business production are key components of the role.
Skills Desired:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Previous commercial building design or mechanical/electrical engineering experience
- Desire to work in a highly collaborative environment that places great emphasis on teamwork, customer focus and results
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills and strong customer focus
- Understanding of financial modeling, cash flow analysis, return on investment
- HVAC, boiler, chiller equipment experience
- Sub metering
- LEED or CEM a plus
A Professional Engineering license is not required. Ideally, this candidate should have 3 to 5 years work experience related to design and/or installation and implementation of energy products and technologies with demonstrated ability to analyze and quantify energy and operational needs, use, and savings projections. BUILDING AUDITOR
This person will be responsible for several areas of business:
- Acquire data from all mechanical systems located at a residential or commercial property.
- Provide detailed analysis of mechanical systems and building operations, i.e. lighting, boilers, chillers, pumps, etc.
- Document all points of energy waste and inefficiency at a given property.
- Acquire and document all uses of energy within residential spaces.
- Ensure the accurate completion and collection of all necessary forms regarding residential utility accounts.
- Modeling the building in a proprietary software package and developing energy reduction recommendations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Bachelor of Science in mechanical, electrical or energy engineering, or related building science and technology field preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills and strong customer focus with strong attention to detail.
- Desire to work in a highly collaborative environment that places great emphasis on teamwork, customer focus and results.
- Travel required - Valid driver’s license in good standing.
- Familiarity of Ashrae 90.1
- LEED or CEM a plus
This person will spend three to four days in the field auditing buildings. This territory is mainly comprised of Manhattan, The Bronx and Westchester. This includes walking through and capturing information for all energy systems as well as auditing a subset of representative apartments or portion of commercial space. This person will be modeling the captured building site information and create a component of an energy reduction plan that is presented to our clients as well as New York State. This person will also be responsible for acquiring all related release forms related to the properties and eventually for the completion of audit applications.
This candidate should have 1 to 2 years work experience with demonstrated ability to analyze and quantify energy and operational needs. Looking for motivated people.

INFORMATION ANALYST
This person will be responsible for several areas:
- Creation and formatting of data to be sent to clients in a variety of formats such as Excel, Access, CSV, etc.
- Producing analysis of specific client reports.
- Managing the capture and production of system data.
- Developing process around production of regular products and reports.
This person will be responsible for capturing the data, formatting it, standardizing it, and producing monthly client reporting. This person will also be responsible for streamlining the way we capture data and insure it's done in a most efficient manner. The person will also create ad hoc Client reporting, including analysis to support the growth of the business.
Skills Desired:
- Excel report creation and delivery
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Access
- Some experience of relational databases
- Access database design
- Ability to consistenly summarize large quantities of data onto one page
- Resolving client data queries and delivery of data extracts
- Quality and accuracy of data held on databases
Ideally, this candidate should have 2 years deep work experience in Excel analysis and report creation and Access database design with demonstrated ability to create, format and report data. Looking for a motivated and responsible person with great attention to detail.
